Meet Sharon Laffan, Owner and Managing Director

Sharon has worked for Living Edge Interiors for more than 10 years, over which time she has help shape the development and growth of what is today the largest Homestaging business in New Zealand.

Sharon purchased the business in 2014. During her long career with Living Edge Interiors Sharon has developed an enormous network of longstanding relationships with Real Estate agents, developers and business partnerships.

Sharon has been heavily involved in the International and local buying of merchandise for the business, which keeps the product on trend, current and very unique.

Sharon’s passion and focus for the business is to provide outstanding customer service to deliver show homes of excellence keeping Living Edge Interiors as the absolute benchmark in the industry.

 

 

Meet  Melanie Sullivan

Melanie has worked for over 20 years in interior design and Styling, Property Development and Retail.

Her experience includes the set up of her own Antiques and homewares importing and retail business, primarily sourcing and buying furniture and fittings for private clients and property developers.

Melanie brings a broad spectrum of experience to our team, specifically, her knowledge of the Sales market, and her ability to listen to, and her dedication to her clients.

Melanie’s easy manner, humour and love of interior Design makes her a valuable team member.

 

 

Meet Janette MacKenzie

Janette is an integral part of our team with a wealth of experience in Customer Service and design.

Having worked in the airline service industry, caring for high end frequent flyers, provides Janette with an understanding of time management, service delivery and customer focus. Janette has renovated and built 8 homes throughout Auckland. This allowed Janette to develop her Interior design talents and project management skills.

After completing the renovations and a Diploma in Interior design, Janette was nominated for the 2016 Home of the Year and was awarded Silver in her Home Category.

With this experience, Janette can relate to what is required to make your home or development a standout in an industry that demands accuracy and style whilst managing customer requirements.

Some key points that have set Living Edge apart is that the initial quote detailed room by room what needed to stay and go plus what was going to be placed in each area this made it easy for my vendors and gave them peace of mind (as they were still going to be living in the home). Another key highlight was the comments we got from potential buyers such as: the staging is beautifully done and the house is well presented. We were also questioned on which company we had used which again highlighted to me the quality of the staging.
